Creating Writers Using 6 Traits of Writing
Join us at the College of Education Room ### on the University of Oklahoma Campus for an interactive workshop focused on enhancing your teaching!
Participants will collaborate to connect pieces of Science of Reading with best practices from the Oklahoma Writing Project.
Participants will experience writing and create lessons to directly impact classroom teaching.
Participants will gather a toolbox of strategies and ideas to immediately implement with students!
Learn how to develop your writing using the 6 traits method in a fun and engaging environment. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned writer, this event is perfect for anyone looking to improve their craft. Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and become a better writer!

Audience: Teachers Grades Kdg-6th

- For early career secondary teachers (just completed student teaching or finishing 1st or 2nd year of teaching)
- Focused on providing support in the teaching of writing and developing lessons that meet current state standards.
